Who We Are

 The Nevada Wells Cooperative was established in 1998 by a group of rural Nevada well owners who recognized the need for shared knowledge, education, and mutual support. What began as informal gatherings to discuss water safety and maintenance soon evolved into an organized, member-driven nonprofit. Over the years, the Cooperative has grown to serve multiple counties across the state, providing workshops, advocacy, and resources that help private well owners manage and protect their water systems responsibly. Today, the Nevada Wells Cooperative remains committed to transparency, community collaboration, and the sustainable stewardship of Nevada’s groundwater.
